FAQs

I am not Goan but would like to attend one of your events. Is this possible?
Yes. Fenny Fever promotes attendance from Goans as well as non-Goans. Individuals from other communities are welcomed to socialise and network with young Goans at our events.

I do not know much about the Goan culture or any goans for that matter. Will I feel out of place at my first event?
No. We have a number of committee members who help break the ice and have the ability to help a newcomer gel into various groups very easily.

I don't know anyone, should I be worried about coming the first time?
As the point of the event is to meet others and network, there would be nothing to worry about. As mentioned before our committee members are always there to help introduce newcomers to existing members and make them feel like part of group. We also have a number of party games that are easy ice-breakers. However the games aren't enforced and participating is completely voluntary but the excitement is so infectious, it’s pretty hard to be a bystander!

How do the events take place?
We usually promote our party events and our smaller events two months in advance via regular newsletters and the website. The website will show past and upcoming events that you can access online. Our events are always require advance booking and are generally held in Central London. We either have a DJs playing all the latest tracks in R&B, Basement, Hip Hop and Funky House all night or put on performances. Our events are always well attended, so expect to do a lot of socialising!

Is this a matchmaking service?
No. Our aim is not to link people 'romantically'. We are all professionals and non-professionals who come to socialise, network and have a good time.

Are there any membership charges?
Fenny Fever currently do not charge any membership charges.

I have got some feedback, who do I give the feedback to?
If you have attended our events and would like to provide feedback about the events, or even give us some suggestions, please post your comment online under the Event. We are looking to keep feedback interactive and accessible to all members. If you would like for the feedback to be hidden and known to the Committee members only, then kindly contact us via Contact Us.
